Our new Executive Director

It is my pleasure to introduce our new Executive Director, Cathy Walters as my successor. Cathy brings with her over 30 years of experience working in the IDD/MH field. Before joining this organization, she served as a Program Director, where she was responsible for maintaining 3 IDD Residential Group Homes and the IDD Day Program.  In this role she gained valuable experience in organizational leadership, program development, community engagement, and team building.  She is known for being collaborative, and people-centered, with a leadership style that values listening, learning, and bringing out the best in others.

As she steps into this new role, Cathy is looking forward to learning from the organization’s staff, board, volunteers, and community partners while building on the successes that are already in place. She is excited about the opportunity to work alongside everyone to strengthen the organization, expand its impact, and continue moving its mission forward.
